Awarded for those (in a team of 2) who are able to move considerable distances bij car, on foot and by bike in two days. On the second day a pistol-shooting test has te be passed. From 1936 until 1955 officers had to move by horse. After 1955 movements were made by car. For the number of times a number can be worn on the ribbon. There are three different medals:

Every year the Royal Federation of Reserve-Officers organizes this event. From the beginning only officers could perform. Since 2003 the event is also open to NCO's and enlisted.
